Hebrew  Academy of Tidewater
seeks Jewish students who seek a dual curriculum, including those without  previous Hebrew language backgrounds. Admission to the school is possible at any grade level.  Interested students and their parents are invited to visit our school for tours, interviews, and classroom observation. Applicants for kindergarten should be five-years-old by the start of school. The admission process for all grades includes an evaluation by our admissions director, as well as transcripts from the prior school and an interview/visit by the parents and the applicant. Standardized admission tests are used to help determine grade level placement.
