It’s that time of year again. The Farm Fresh 123 – 4 the Community program starts today, September 8, 2011. Our last day of collection this year will be May 21, 2012. Last year we had a phenomenal record breaking year of collection. Our final total for last year was 184,431 points, which shattered our goal of 120,000. I am hopeful for a good return this year as well and because of our success last year, we are setting a goal of 160,000 points for the 2011-2012 school year. I know what you are wondering, what was the school able to get with all of those points? The list is long but the most exciting items we were able to acquire were 3 Hewlett Packard Laser Jet Color, Wi-fi enabled printers. Now the older kids that utilize laptops can actually print right from their computer in the class rooms instead of having to go to the computer lab. Thank you so much for everyone’s participation last year and I hope we will all succeed this year as well.
If you have forgotten how this all works, here is a quick reminder. It’s actually very easy. First, shop at Farm Fresh between September 8, 2011 and May 21, 2012. Then simply cut off the bottom portion of your receipt and drop it in the Farm Fresh labeled box in the front office. It’s that easy. For every dollar you spend, we earn one point. We are then able to shop from their catalog and receive exceptional educational equipment for the school. It’s that easy. The main thing that I ask is that you PLEASE cut off the bottom portion of the receipt before submitting it. There is a sample receipt at the bottom of this page. With limited space at the front counter in the office, we need as much room in the box as possible.
As you start your shopping for the high holidays this year and throughout the entire year, please keep in mind how easy it is to help out our school and your kids. I look forward to filling you all in on our progress throughout the year.
Thank you and happy shopping!
