JCC Summer Programming

Camp JCC provides children with a rich and unique day camp experience.  A dynamic program allows every child to explore their own interests and try new activities within a safe camp atmosphere.

Engaging and supportive staff encourages campers to have fun, develop skills, and form meaningful relationships.  All staff members are hired for their ability to facilitate memorable experiences for our campers.  All camp personnel have a background check and participate in an extensive orientation program.

Lower Camp

Throughout the summer, children connect and bond through shared experiences and traditions. Campers and counselors come together as a community at our daily camp meeting, Boker Tov (Good Morning), and at Shabbat celebrations on Fridays. Whether it’s a new friend your child makes or the first time he or she swims across the pool, expect to hear exciting stories about what’s happening at camp!

Weekly camp activities include:  Arts and Crafts, Discovery, Israeli Life (led by Israeli Staff), Music, Shabbat, Sports and Swimming.

Campers in lower camp can look forward to special programs throughout the summer, such as weekly dress up days, a magician, animal visits, a fun-filled carnival and two family evenings at our outdoor water park. Kindergarten campers get to experience two field trips over the course of the summer!

Parents can choose a full-day or half-day option based on their needs. For two year olds, there are 2 additional half-day programs, two days a week (T/Th) or three days a week (M/W/F). For three year olds, there is one additional half-day program, three days a week (M/W/F).

For full-day campers, the schedule has a rest period built in, allowing campers to nap or spend time doing a quiet activity such as reading books, doing puzzles, and more.
